Re-Root

‘Re-root’ is a luxury printed textile collection for interiors that celebrates the beauty of being immersed in natural forest environments while also highlighting the issue of deforestation that is prevalent in Goa and other areas of the world. 

 

The printed designs evoke the essence and vivid colours of the earth and its creatures and are intended to bring nature's beauty into interior spaces. The transition in imagery from lush, wild, and detailed elements to fragmented, trapped, and disappearing motifs, depict how this wildlife is becoming increasingly threatened.  

 

The collection is intended to inspire change, and raise awareness of the importance of appreciating and preserving these habitats - and ultimately, our future - by ‘re-rooting’ both our environments and behaviours.
